Wings to Fly Run

Named the 2013 Central Oklahoma Frontier Country Awards, Honorable Mention for Outstanding Sporting Event. The Annual Wings to Fly Run is a family-friendly event that features a 15K, 5K, and non-competitive Miracle Mile.  Participants of the run help support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, an organization dedicated to providing funding for pediatric research, which in turns helps improve education and clinical care through the support of Children’s Hospital Foundation.  The run begins at Historic Fort Reno and proceeds down Route 66 to El Reno and back to the Historic Fort.  Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome on the course.  For those not quite ready for a run, there is plenty of other entertainment and food.
